Skirted vs Non-skirted PCR plate?
Skirt refers to the plate edge surrounding types.
There are non skirted, half skirted (also known as semi skirted), sub skirted and full skirted.
Non-skirted PCR plates are the most adaptable ones. It fits with a wide range of applications.
Usually skirted ones have better stability.

CFX96 Compatible Plates?
Short answer: Yes!
We offer both 0.1ml and 0.2ml 96 well plates to fit BioRad CFX96 thermal cyclers.
And our standard PCR plates fit a series models of cycler brands. To name a few, ABI - Applied BioSystems, Eppendorf, Roche, Stratagene Agilent and so on.
